Street Style Report
Last weekend, we called upon personal stylist and full-time mom, Kelly Werner, to show us a few holiday party looks. We photographed her with her greatest accessory -- her adorable son, Bey -- at their home in the Mission.
Originally from Memphis, we spotted local gal Cristina Ziegler by the Embarcadero. We loved her polished, urban look and messy bun.
Matthew is a local artist, and he also holds down the fort at FSC Barber (see amazing grooming below). His sharp eye for design keeps his look always polished -- even in the rain.
Last week, on a rainy Halloween, we spotted Kelvin Malone, staying dry in a pair of bright yellow galoshes. His style is perfect mix of dapper and dope.
We caught up with Levi's Plaza shop supervisor, Jorge Benitez, on a hazy day in North Beach. We first noticed his fancy kicks -- floral Dr. Marten low tops -- then his lovely grooming, which all looked perfect in the SF fog.
Last weekend, we spotted skater/surfer boy, Ivan Cheng, chilling near Union Square. Originally from Osaka, Japan, Ivan now calls Treasure Island home, and commutes into SF to skate at EMB (The historic Embarcadero skate turf) and for MFA photography classes at Academy of Art University. His look is a subtle blend of clean, fitted Japanese and modern skater street style.
Some would say the epitome of SF street style would be great bike fashion, found at a hip, local company in the Mission. Timbuk2's Jared Fickel (left) and Lizzy Fallows (right) certainly fit the SF style profile. We caught up with the savvy city cyclists at Timbuk2's swanky Mission HQ, for a little tour and to talk bikes and fashion.
