Meet Jenny Bronstein, a Bay Area native turned sun-loving Santa Monica gal. After meeting her last week in the Marina, we're now inspired to smile bigger, laugh louder and be more fabulous. The busy corporate event planner, may have settled down the coast, but she's still a Bay Area girl at heart and always makes time for (shopping-filled) SF getaways.
It may be c-c-cold outside, but at least these deals are hot....
Union Street Sidewalk Sale: While plenty of San Francisco streets seem to be having block-long sales (just walk Maiden Lane, and you’ll see what we mean), others are making it official. Head to Cow Hollow this weekend for a three-day sale that we hear from retailer Mabel Chong will feature just about everybody along this popular San Francisco shopping corridor. For her part, Chong will be offering 20 percent off new items and up to 70 percent off previous collections to make way for fall inventory.
This weekend, Cow Hollow shop inventories runneth over... and out into Union Street for the neighborhood's annual Super Sidewalk Sale. Not to be confused with the Union Street Festival, (sorry, no beer gardens here!) the three-day event is all about great sales at retailers up and down the neighborhood's main shopping drag. We'll be stopping by Past Perfect, the giant antiques showroom that (thanks to a wide variety of vendors selling under one roof) has well-curated collections ranging from Hollywood Regency to Mid-Century Modern furniture, Americana memorabilia and more. Be warned: you can definitely lose track of time in here, especially when almost everything is on sale.
