We're currently obsessing over San Jose-based style blogger Tanesha Awasthi, a.k.a. Girl With Curves. From her effortlessly full skirts to those signature big sunglasses, each of her well-curated outfits inspire us to put down our well-worn jeans, and opt for a sleeker silhouette (maybe with a pearl accent!). We caught up with the award-winning blogger and UC Berkeley alumna to ask her about her life in Silicon Valley.
First, tell me a bit about yourself:
Well, my name is Travis Jensen. I’m a 35-year-old photographer living and working in San Francisco. I moved to The City from Milwaukee nearly two decades ago, fresh out of high school with $800 cash, a duffle bag, and a skateboard. That’s it. I’ve been here ever since.
San Francisco Social founder Anderson Pugash was not always as concerned with charity and giving back. It was his late-father's unexpected battle with pancreatic cancer that pushed Pugash to reconsider the kind of life he was leading.
Twenty years after heading to San Francisco with dreams of becoming a stage actor, Liam Vincent has it made. "Having smart people who want to work with you is way more gratifying and challenging than playing the father of a girl who's hot but is also a mummy on the CW," he says.
