We caught her outside the Westin St. Francis Hotel where she raved to us about her recent Nordstrom purchase -- these darling black ankle boots that she swears are comfortable once you get used to them.

Bravo 30 Benefit Celebrates The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre This Saturday

The spirit of pioneer playwrite Lorraine Hansberry, who wrote A Raisin in the Sun and helped the civil rights movement in the early 60s, lives on in San Francisco at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre. This year the theatre turns 30 and is celebrating with the Bravo 30 Benefit this Saturday, October 16 at the St. Francis Hotel.

Those passing through Union Square on their walks home from work last night may have been a bit perplexed--and simultaneously, delighted--to see more than 100 canines donning their Sunday best and prancing down a red carpet that led into the Westin St. Francis' Grand Ballroom.
