Usually Live 105's holiday shows are steeped with bands that attract the teeny-bopper groupie types, but this year that couldn't be farther from the truth. Live 105's huge December show, Not So Silent Night (12/11) and their subsequent smaller, and more intimate Soundcheck Holiday Ball is way more impressive (kudos to the booking agents!) than any other year that we can remember.
From old nostalgic favorites to up-and-coming locals brandishing fresh material, and famous singers fronting other collectives, all we know is that by the end of this week our wallets will be drowning in emptiness and we'll need at least another week to recover. You know that old saying, "You can sleep when you're dead?" We'll be utilizing this theme to power through this thoroughly heargasmic week ahead of us.

Disclaimer for first timers: make sure you know the standard call and return at every Sleepy Sun show, “Let’s get weird.” It’s shouted loud and proud by avid fans, and trust us, the show will probably be just that.
