For all you vegetarians out there or for the folks who just want to party after a mellow Thanksgiving day, head downtown for the annual Meat is Murder tribute to The Smiths. This Charming Band will perform all of your Morrissey favorites along with music from The Mozzer and DJs Aaron and Nako.

Dig in the closet and pull out your best '80s ensembles for a night of tributes at Slim's. This Charming Band will honor Morrissey and The Smiths, Love Vigilantes will take on New Order and Dead Souls attempt Joy Division.

Although still churning out Smiths' hits to appease audiences, Morrissey delves deep into his solo repertoire for consistently sold-out shows. Currently on tour for Years of Refusal, you're sure to hear new work, plus old favorites like "How Soon is Now," "This Charming Man," "The Boy With a Thorn in His Side" and many more.

The Smiths always managed to put a morbid twist on their lyrics, but we love them anyway. So, on Thanksgiving, why not celebrate the band who sang, "… and the turkey you festively slice is murder." Now in its ninth year, the folks at Popscene bring us a party to help dance off of those calories from the big meal. After a live set by local Smiths cover group This Charming Band, DJs Nako and Aaron will play Britpop into the wee hours.
