It's hard to avoid the mild feelings of skepticism that accompany the opening of anything that seems like it might be putting on airs—particularly in San Francisco, particularly when a certain someone is telling us that we need economic stimulating. But, then, well...wait just a second. When Le Club opens today it may well exceed our expectations.

Check out the video of the post-screening party.It’s probably not very punk rock to host a party at the swank W hotel, but for the San Francisco International Film Festival’s post-screening party for the cutting-edge documentary Punk’s Not Dead, it seemed rather appropriate as society darlings schmoozed with tattooed music legends. The documentary, directed by Susan Dynner and produced by Todd Traina, examines the affect of contemporary punk music on mass culture and features interviews and live footage of veterans like The Ramones and The U.K.
