On June 10th Donna Karan made a special appearance at Neiman Marcus, Union Square. Guests enjoyed mimosa's and brunch bites followed by a preview of her Fall 2009 Collection with Senior Vice President of Neiman Marcus Fashion, Ken Downing. After the show guests took part in a Q&A with Donna.

On June 4th Neiman Marcus hosted the opening launch of the new and only Van Cleef & Arpels Boutique in Northern California. Guests included Barbara Brown, Dr. Brunno and Urannia Ristow, Patty Mozart, Tatiana Sorokko, Daru Kawalkowski, Barbara Brookins and Jenna Liddell.

On April 30, Neiman Marcus hosted Naeem Khan as he presented his Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Joining Naeem was his wife Ranjana Khan with her very distinctive Designer Jewelry Collection.

The arrival of Stella McCartney's Fall collection was hosted by Neiman Marcus with Sloan Barnett. Hundreds of fashionistas arrived at The Rotunda to meet and greet London's own Stella McCartney. Shop was set up where video of her show played as models wore her new collection and played pool with guests, including OJ Shansby, Urannia Ristow, Sally Debenham, and Angelique Griepp.

Akris held their first fashion show since the Paris runways in March at Union Square's Neiman Marcus store for a San Francisco Opera Guild benefit. The well-attended cocktail party and show lent support to the guild's educational programs.
