Ten years ago in May of 1998, several arts loving community minded Sonomans launched a small museum in an old furniture store on Broadway.Few dreamed that Sonoma would soon become home to a major art museum that attracts national international exhibitions with educational programs that serve all segments of the community.Throughout 2008, SVMA will celebrate a milestone event, the 10th Year Anniversary of the Museum with activities planned throughout the year and a blockbuster exhibition of Picasso Ceramics.
