Father’s Day Gift Guide

(blog)
Mother’s Day has come and gone, but Father’s Day is nearly upon on us. Every year, I find myself searching for something that my dad doesn’t already have. Impossible! After getting an early start on my shopping this year, I’ve rounded up a few cool gifts for dads of all personalities everywhere (including the gift I already bought and wrapped for my pops—see number one):

Sunny skies call for shedding your basic black. We’re seeing this “it” color all over the city—from patent leather peep toes to bow bedecked jackets.

Discarded to Divine Fashion Fundraiser

(blog)
This year’s St. Vincent de Paul Society’s recycled couture fashion show & auction, taking place on April 26, has attracted the likes of such local fashion faves as Colleen Quen, Nice Collective and Jessica McClintock. Stitching throwaway fabrics into their own creative designs that were inspired by artwork from the de Young’s permanent collection, these artists, among others, will join students from around San Francisco for a fashionably green runway show under the tents at the Academy of Art’s Brannan Street building.
