(event)
Refer to website

The Date Farmers, an artist collaboration between Carlos Ramirez and Armando Lerma, are known for paintings, collages and three-dimensional pieces inspired by Mexican-American traditional values and contemporary West Coast culture. Influenced by graffiti, Mexican street murals, traditional revolutionary posters, sign painting, prison art and tattoos, their work (often composed of scavenged materials) is unique and simplistic in form layered with complex meaning.
