Al Fresco Appetite
The last dinner in the CUESA Moveable Feast series is a collaboration between chefs Chris Cosentino (Incanto) and Paul Arenstam (Americano) and Joel Schirmer of Dirty Girl Produce—the multicourse summer menu, which will include spit-roasted porchetti, will be served on Americano’s patio on August 5. To cost is $80 ($100 with wine pairings) and tickets can be purchased here.

Get Spruced Up
Spruce is celebrating its second anniversary on Sunday, August 2, and chef Mark Sullivan and the rest of the crew have created a special three-course menu for the occasion—each course is comprised of dishes prepared two ways: heirloom tomatoes, guinea hen and stone fruits will be the showcased ingredients. The dinner is $55 (wine pairings are available for an additional $20), to book call 415-931-5000.

Caution: Cooks at Work
The Chronicle’s very own Tara Duggan will be at Omnivore Books on Sunday, August 1 from 3 to 4 p.m. signing copies of her latest book, The Working Cook: Fast + Fresh Meals for Busy People. Stop by the signing to pick up some tricks of the trade from a seasoned cook.

The Caprese Caper
On Monday, August 3, head to 18 Reasons for the most summery of tastings—heirloom tomatoes paired with fresh mozzarella. Bi-Rite’s farm manager and cheese buyer will both be on hand to guide you through the exploration of deliciousness.
