The Last-Minute Guide to Mother's Day Brunch

By

Just because it only dawned on you 10 minutes ago that Mother's Day is Sunday, doesn't mean your love for her is any less. Not to mention, she'll never know if you reserve a table for brunch now (just tell her you wanted it to be a surprise). We called on your behalf and these restaruants all have tables still available.

Try brunch with a twist at Maverick. You can’t go wrong with the duck hash made with duck confit, russet potatoes, medjool dates, sunny side up eggs, mustard sauce and fresh picked herbs.

Get out of the hustle and bustle of the inner city and take in some fresh Ocean Beach air and views at The Beach Chalet. Kick back with a hand crafted beer or bottomless champagne and specials for Mother’s Day like Copper River Steelhead fish and grilled pork chops. 10 am–3 pm, $35

Share a toast at the top of the city. Top of the Mark’s champagne Sunday brunch includes prime rib, fresh crab and breakfast specialties. 10 am–1 pm, $64

Make Sunday a fancy affair with The Palace Hotel’s Mother’s Day brunch. Sit in The Garden Court ($98) or The Grand Ballroom ($88) and enjoy a wide array of food, live jazz entertainment, sparkling wine and a keepsake gift of a family portrait. 10 am–3 pm
