Arttitud Art Festival 

As part of artMRKT's international art fair, Arttitud features fine art in traditional and contemporary styles from a select group of Eastern-European born and trained artists. Don't miss Valery Vershov's complex paintings of luxurious interiors populated with surreal and absurd creatures and characters (seen above), or Sergey Konstantinov colorful abstracts.

Summer Workshops with Local Experts

Calling all novice grillers, local beer enthusiasts, and serious picnic seekers! Skill Exchange is bringing together a group of local experts for a crash course in essential summer skills. Highlights include: Siren Fish Co founder Anna Larsen on buying, preparing, and preserving local seafood; Fermenters Club on preparing kimchi at home, and even a workshop on how to properly sharpen knives. The day of learning, tasting, and making concludes with a grilled meal, served family style, with beer pairings from HenHouse Brewing Company.

A group of local, passionate art collectors will open their homes to share their exceptional collections with the public, all in order to raise awareness for Enterprise for High School Students

Central Market Microhood

The Bold Italic returns to Central Market for an evening of live performance, great deals from local merchants, and unexpected surprises between 6th Street and 8th Street. Even better: The folks at Showdogs are going to be offering $4 draft beers from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Celebrating Elephants

Here's a cause that's easy to get behind: saving elephants. Dr. Vicki Fishlock, Resident Scientist for the Amboseli Trust for Elephants, will share some of her ongoing research looking at the fascinating social dynamics in the lives of female elephants, and how these individual relationships shape the success of families. The silent auction part of the evening will include scrumptious arrays of appetizers and beverages donated from local Bay Area restaurants, breweries, shops, and artists. All proceeds benefit Amboseli Trust for Elephants.
