It's a big week in music with lots of sold-out shows. If you missed your chance at tickets to Mumford & Sons, the XX, Imagine Dragons, and Sting, use your best Craigslist negotiating skills or check out some of this week's other hot events.

Benefit
The Dinner Party II
Celebrate truly independent film, and help the 104-year-old Roxie see another century of movies come to life on the big screen. This year's Roxie Theater benefit sees the launch of the first annual filmmakers award Lights.Camera.Action!, in which they'll be honoring Rob Epstein and Jeffery Friedman and Hima B.
When: 6:30 p.m., Wed. 5/29
Where: The Roxie, 3117 16th St.

Fundraiser
826 Valencia Annual Spring Luncheon
SF's favorite literary nonprofit brought out the big guns for this year's fundraising luncheon. Almighty director Francis Ford Coppola and local indie fave Thao Nguyen are hosting the event, which features the talent of 826 Valencia students. Tickets will set you back $200, but that's cheap for access to this kind of talent. And if you're feeling like a baller, put down the $1,000 to meet Coppola and Nguyen in the flesh before lunch.
When: 11:30 - 1:30 p.m., Wed., 5/29
Where: The St. Regis, 125 Third St.

Conversation
#Nofilter
Instagram founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger will take the hot seat for a candid conversation (no filters) with Google Ventures partner Kevin Rose. Get the behind-the-scenes scoop about everyone's favorite photo app, which boasts over 100 million registered users and more than 200 photo uploads a second.
When: 7 p.m., Thurs. 5/30
Where: Castro Theatre, 429 Castro St.

Conversation
David Simon and David Chang
Find out what these two Davids—two unlikely bedfellows—have in common when they take the stage for a conversation with Michael Krasny. We're dying to hear how the creator of The Wire and Treme came to contribute to the Momofuku emperor's Lucky Peach mag.
When: 7:30 p.m., Thurs. 5/30
Where: Nourse Auditorium, 275 Hayes St.
