Chinese Martial Arts Tournament 2013— Plan for a kick-ass Saturday afternoon with Berkeley’s Chinese Martial Arts Tournament. The event features 500 competitors from all over the world to inspire fans of Kung Fu, Wushu, and other combat styles with their skills.

Horse Faire 2013— Have an interest in horses? Check out the Horse Faire 2013 at the Equestrian Center in Walnut Creek. Held annually for the third year in a row, the festivity’s aim is to familiarize guests with the lives of horses through riding demonstrations, stabling, pony exhibitions, and photographs taken with these tall, robust wonders.  

Easter Dining & Gondola Tours at Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill—It’s not a blissful weekend without good food to make your tastebuds smile. Oakland’s Lake Chalet hosts Easter brunch and dinner with a list of specialties that range from Eggs Benedict to Maine Lobster. You’re also welcome to take a gondola tour of Lake Merritt and make nice with the Easter Bunny.
