After a week in the office, there is no greater feeling than jumping in the car and leaving the city behind. Just north of the city is an outdoor playground just waiting to be explored. Here are some awesome outdoor activities tempting us north over the Golden Gate Bridge this weekend.

There is more than just wine being produced in Sonoma County. The rich soil and friendly climate also means there are incredible farms growing some of California’s freshest and most delicious produce. The Petaluma farmers market is the showcase for the bounty of goods produced in Sonoma. With more than 60 booths you’ll find a wealth of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants, fresh baked goods, fresh cider, and cheeses on display. There is also tons of live entertainment to keep you and the family entertained. For the art enthusiast there is a great selection of unusual and interesting handmade arts & crafts available at the market.
