The city may be full of lights, but it’s no match for what the northern ‘burbs have in store during the Christmas season. This weekend, explore five extravagant, turn of the century homes decked out for the holidays during the Tour de Noël House Tour. Shuttles will drop you at their doorsteps where you can then meander between residences. Lunch will be available for purchase and all proceeds benefit various Marin charities. $40 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., $30 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., tour departs from St. John’s Episcopal Church parking lot, 14 Lagunitas Ave, Ross.

Forget the mall, if you need to do some Christmas shopping (which we know you do!) then head over to the Indoor Antique Market. You’ll find one-of-a-kind treasures like antique china, silver, porcelain, and pottery as well as fine art, vintage jewelry, clocks, books, and coins among other treasures. Stock up on unique décor for your holiday table and gifts for the collectors, decorators, and antique lovers on your list. $6, Marin Center Exhibit Hall, 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael.

If you’re a die-hard Stones fan, then you don’t want to miss an appearance by their doppelganger tribute band. The Unauthorized Rolling Stones take the stage at the Sweetwater Music Hall, where you can expect Mick’s notorious strutting, screaming, and costume changes. Any and all of your favorite Stones songs will be played. Be forewarned, they tend to sell out. Be sure to arrive early to get some delicious grub from the Sweetwater Café. $17, doors at 8 p.m., show at 9 p.m. 19 Corte Madera Ave, Mill Valley.
