Experience art that walks the line between waking life and the dream world at this arresting SFMOMA exhibit, which showcases a diverse array of contemporary Chinese art. Opens Thursday, July 10.

3.  CineKink at the YBCA
Explore the sexier side of cinema at the CineKink Festival—which features documentaries, shorts and even porn guaranteed to titillate. The festival begins Thursday, 10 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

4.  Kira Lynn Cain
Local songbird Kira Lynn Cain—whose dreamy-meets-macabre songs are fit for a David Lynch film—will perform tracks off of her latest effort The Ideal Hunter at Café Du Nord on Thursday, July 11.
