Parking Quiz: Navigating Multiple Signs on One Post

It's no secret that parking in the city is a bitch. So we've enlisted local parking guru and author of Finding the Sweet Spot, David La Bua, to dish out weekly tips on navigating the ins and outs of city parking.

Question: It’s Tuesday at 2:15 p.m., and you park to the right of this multi-signed post.  Can you park here safely without being ticketed or towed?

For extra credit, and five bonus points:
When can you park here for more than one hour?

You can park for 45 minutes at 2:15pm. You can park to the right for more than an hour from 4am to 8:59am and from 6pm to 12:59am. :)

hey that's easy, just have to do the math ! i can park there until 3pm, and if it is in downtown SF i bet the tow trucks are waiting already ! i almost missed this little quiz for i'm leaving early today, fun to take before heading out for the weekend though, adds to my jolly mood. happy friday !!

That should say 4am-9am :)

You can park to the right at 2:15pm for only 45 mins. To park for more than one hour, you'd have to park to the right between 5am-9am or 7pm-2am.
