From the Toy Story trilogy to The Incredibles and Up, Pixar Animation Studios has forever impacted filmmaking and given children (and children-at-heart, a.k.a. all of San Francisco) some seriously adorable characters. After all, who can resist WALL-E's soulful robot eyes or the heartwarming devotion of Dug, Up's heart-before-brains golden retriever?
Fresh from enjoying their celebratory after-work fete, the team at Lookout continued to celebrate their victory in the 7x7 Hangout Series with a decadent dinner held in a private room at Jen Puccio’s newest mid-Market establishment. Dozens of candles flickered, dancing off the luxe and layered decor to create an intimate and stylish atmosphere.
Last week, La Mar played host to a vibrant evening, kicking off the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Fútbol fans and newbies alike noshed on South American fare, including a variety of chef-selected empanadas, platos frîos, and fried chicken thights with anticuchera sauce. As the sun set over the Bay, partygoers enjoyed a spectacular view from the restaurant's deck overlooking the water.
Pinnacle® Vodka wants to find out which of their flavors resonates most with 7x7 readers, so we’ve collaborated on a quick quiz to get the (spiked) juices flowing. Follow along below and let us know which Pinnacle® flavor you are for a chance to experience that flavor live at our event celebrating this program. Our guests at the event will be selected from those who participate in the quiz, so be sure to enter in your email address at the bottom (you must be 21+). The best part about this test is, there are no wrong answers! Good luck.
We all know that San Francisco summer weekends are always packed. Whether you're strolling the Embarcadero, peeking into shops in Chinatown, or celebrating yet another home team victory (go Giants!), there's so much to see and do in the Bay.
7x7 and the San Francisco SPCA joined forces to throw a playfully chic bash in honor of the grand re-opening of the SPCA's Potrero Hill location. With vegan food trucks, a bar featuring pet-named cocktails, and a lively music set spun by a local DJ, the event was an energetic (and adorable) start to the weekend.
