Brian and Alison met by chance on a dance floor in Dewey Beach, DE. They were both strategy consultants from IBM and as luck would have it, they were both sent to Seattle for work which allowed for a side ski trip in Lake Tahoe.
Fillmore & 5th celebrated their first birthday at their 1775 Union St. Location. Guests shopped designer and contemporary consignment while enjoying wine, refreshments, and conversation. They were also able to have some fun in the photo booth while being given a chance at winning the designer handbag giveaway. The Exploratorium’s Opening Gala marked an unforgettable evening of revelry on a scale beyond anything that has been seen in the museum’s 44-year history. With the theme, “This is where things get interesting,” the spectacular three-tiered extravaganza brought together the cognoscenti from San Francisco and Silicon Valley society and business, along with notable artists, scientists and Exploratorium enthusiasts for a festive evening full of surprises.

The Junior League of San Francisco hosted their 87th Annual Fashion Showcase—themed "Setting Sail into a New Century"—with a three-day event at Fort Mason, filled with a stellar lineup of events and activities that appealed to a broader group of fashionistas and friends than in years past.
