Beautiful: The Carole King Musical isn't your typical jukebox musical. In fact, to call it a jukebox musical is kind of an insult.
The iconic San Francisco-based band, Metallica, has been rocking the hell out of the music industry for over 30 years — and there is no end in sight. People might think that that their latest movie, Metallica: Through the Never is your basic run-of-the-mill concert movie, but after talking to the band, it's a different take on their music.
As usual, the lineup for this year's Mill Valley Film Festival is a cinematic feast for Bay Area cinephiles that lasts from October 3 to the 13th. From festival favorites to local up-and-coming filmmakers, the festival has a lot to choose from and if you can watch all films, then you probably manage your time better than me. If you aren't able to binge on all the movies, then here are 12 must-sees.
There's a lot of funny going on in the city in the next two weeks, so let's get to it, shall we?
