Wine Luxury—the multifaceted online platform and magazine dedicated to the celebration of a wine and culinary lifestyle—recently hosted Soirée, a masquerade-inspired evening at The City Club, complete with world-class wines, fashion and even a live performance by Franc D'Ambrosio, The World’s Longest Running Phantom. The evening celebrated the WLX Wine & Dine magazine and served as a preview to the upcoming Wineluxury.com platform.

A warm and raucous celebration at the Castro Theatre recognized creative excellence and patron experience in San Francisco's vibrant and vital nightlife industry.
The city's tight-knit, supportive community of nightlife and entertainment professionals mingled with their passionate audiences for the inaugural event. Winners in several categories were chosen by a juried panel of their peers, while 7x7 proudly sponsored public online voting to determine fan favorites in more fields.

Diamond Dolphins: A Night for the Dolphins
A bevy of celebrities and guests gathered for a red carpet event at the Olympia Luxe Mansion in Los Angeles, benefiting Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Oceanic Preservation Society.
Host BeverlyJ Public Relations brought together a host of actors, directors, producers, musicians and publicists who came to support the charities in their efforts to stop the heartbreaking annual slaughter and captivity of dolphins in Taiji, Japan. Sea Shepherd's California Chapter was on hand to meet and greet guests, and to relay information regarding the dolphin crisis.

7x7's Ultra-Premium Bourbon Series at Monarch
7x7 continued our series of tasting events showcasing the subtleties and strengths of small batch bourbons, at SoMa's fantastically vibrant lounge.
This time, aficionados explored the Knob Creek family of ultra-premium bourbons—including Small Batch, Single Barrel, and Rye varieties—in the venue's large lower level, where specialists presented a samples of, and a wealth of information on each spirit. Guests tested their knowledge at a blind whisky tasting station, before enjoying deeply discounted cocktails using any of the bourbons in classic cocktails like sours and Old Fashioneds.
New & Next Bay Area Pre-SXSW Party at Monarch
On March 6th, 7x7 was proud to partner with Up In Arms for a packed live music showcase at the Monarch in San Francisco's SoMa District. It was all part of New & Next, a new monthly music happy hour event created by Up In Arms to showcase local up and coming talent.

San Francisco's culinary superstars gathered at the historic Anchor Brewery to celebrate our readers' choices for the best restaurants in town, who picked up their special awards called "The Piggies!"

On February 19th, the city's hard-working nightlife pros—bartenders, barbacks, bussers, bouncers, servers, DJs, dancers, doormen, coat check, hat check, clothes check, greeters, promoters, hosts, hostesses, sound guys, and other service industry workers—were treated to a night of their own, honoring their contributions to our own regular decompressions. Host venue Cafe du Nord welcomed revelers with a generous buffet from their hearty menu, while partners Maker's Mark, Stella Artois, and Bud Light Platinum provided the liquid courage necessary for the traditional barworker challenges, hosted by Barworkers Ball creator and beloved impresario Stephen Torres.
