Photos: The Second Annual Decks on Deck 2012

On September 22, hundreds of partiers boarded the beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon—the $7 million dollar, 4.5 story flagship vessel of the Commodore Fleet—for Decks on Deck, a sold-out benefit supporting the Patrick Landers Foundation and the San Francisco Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Guests cruised the Bay while enjoying a bevy of bites and beverages, and rocked to to a surprise DJ set with Thievery Corporation featuring Rob Garza. The vessel even passed by McCovey Cove so guests could shout out support for our San Francisco Giants battling the Padres.

Water in cocktails? Yes please! On September 19th, guests at the MAVEA H20 Infusions event at 15 Romolo—for San Francisco Cocktail Week—sipped inspired cocktails that used H20 infusions for added flavor and less sugar.

Photos: SF Entertainment Commission's Ninth Anniversary Celebration

The San Francisco Entertainment Commission celebrated its 9th birthday at Qi Lounge.

The Commission is integral to the City's thriving nightlife. Established in 2003, it has the powers to accept, review, gather information regarding and conduct hearings for entertainment-related permit applications. It also coordinates City services for major events for which there is no formal organizer, promoter, or sponsor.

7x7 will sponsor the San Francisco Nightlife Awards in February 2013.

On Friday, September 7, the Andaz hotel group debuted their first property in Northern California—Andaz Napa. A fabulous cocktail party was attended by the who's who of Napa Valley, to welcome the reflagged downtown Napa hotel.

Guests enjoyed delicious bites from Napa-to-Table Executive Chef Sarah Linkenheil, with wine pairings from local producer John Anthony and signature sips from Andaz’s resident Cocktail Maven, Caitlin Laman.

The event also featured an impressive art exhibition from local artist Richard Von Saal.

On September 7, San Francisco Opera opened it's 90th anniversary season with an exuberant, elegant celebration at the War Memorial Opera House. The evening's theme—Notte di Spendore—telegraphed the gala's highlight: a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s brilliant and dramatic Rigoletto conducted by Music Director Nicola Luisotti.

On August 23rd, 7x7 continued the late summer event series, The Cocktail Party 2012 with Maker's Mark, making a stop at the sleek, stylish Osha Thai Embarcadero Center in San Francisco's Financial District.

The rapturous crowd flooded the lounge to enjoy $5 specials on the evening's signature drink, The Dark Mark Logic, created by Osha Thai's bar manager Tou Meechukant—made with Maker Mark Bourbon, mango puree, peach schnapps, lemon juice, and fresh basil leaves.

On August 9th, the W San Francisco and 7x7 celebrated the winner of Russian Standard Vodka's weeks-long "Toast to Ambition" mixology contest—Erik Tennyson of Upstairs at W San Francisco!

On August 3-5, San Francisco became the food nation's culinary and libationary locus under a Grand Tasting Tent on Union Square with the return of the epic event, SF Chefs.

The fourth annual celebration of the good, smart, sustainable life highlighted the glorious bounty of Northern California. Passionate chefs from the Bay Area’s most coveted restaurants thrilled guests with a vast selection of fresh, local and delicious dishes, accompanied by perfectly paired wines, beers and spirits. The epic event also supported the Golden Gate Restaurant Association Scholarship Foundation.

On August 2nd, 7x7 launched the late summer event series, The Cocktail Party 2012 with Maker's Mark at the ever-popular 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco's SoMa District.

On August 1st, a stunning array of the top chefs in San Francisco gathered at the award-winning waterfront restaurant La Mar Cebicheria for an exclusive dinner. The ultra-private event was hosted by La Mar’s chef Diego Oka, who was eager to re-introduce traditional Peruvian cuisine to the sophisticated palates of his peers in the Bay Area culinary community.

Event partner Sapporo provided icy-cold bottles to complement the fantastic lineup of dishes.
