On August 1st, a stunning array of the top chefs in San Francisco gathered at the award-winning waterfront restaurant La Mar Cebicheria for an exclusive dinner. The ultra-private event was hosted by La Mar’s chef Diego Oka, who was eager to re-introduce traditional Peruvian cuisine to the sophisticated palates of his peers in the Bay Area culinary community.
Event partner Sapporo provided icy-cold bottles to complement the fantastic lineup of dishes.
Hungry for change? Tim Lincecum is. That’s why he teamed up with popchips to “chip in” for charity. As a part of the popchips game changers program, fans were encouraged to submit ideas on how Tim could give back to the San Francisco community. After nominations were submitted, the community voted on the local causes and event ideas that they wanted to see popchips and Tim Lincecum bring to life. The top 5 ideas were shared with Tim and the cause that hit a home run, was the Muttville Senior Dog Rescue program.
