For three days, the Lego Group built a twelve-foot tall, ten-foot wide giant Santa Yoda made from around a 250,000 Lego pieces. In Union Square at around 6pm on Sunday night, the final piece of the giant Yoda was put in place. They'll be taking down the entire structure Monday, so catch it while you can!
Early this morning, SFPD officers dressed in riot gear raided the Occupy SF complex downtown. They took down 15 tents and arrested seven people on the grounds of unlawful camping. We caught photos of the clash just as it was going down.

Last Friday, the final piece of the new Bay Bridge was laid (it weighed two million pounds). It marks the completion of the largest structure of its kind anywhere in the world. The new Bay Bridge is scheduled to open in 2013, so don't start revving your engines just yet.
