Scenes of the City: The Rankin Street Warehouse, a Massive Graffiti Anthology

This building is now gone -- torn down by its property owners, Caltrans. It was demolished last year, but for many years it sat on the shore of Islais Creek in SF's Bay View Hunters Point neighborhood.

Photos: Clive Owen, Nicole Kidman Filming Hemingway & Gellhorn in Chinatown

Nicole Kidman is spotted for a fleeting moment as she prepares for her next scene.

For a sneak Scenes of the City we crashed the set of Hemingway & Gellhorn with a few glimpes of stars Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman today in SF's Chinatown. If you're quick you can still catch them on Grant St. and Jackson St.

Scenes of the City: Gardening in SF: Alemany Farm and Beyond

For this week's Scenes of the City we visited Alemany Farm on the southern slope of Bernal Heights and several other gardens in SF and checked out spring planting, cleaning and maintaining. Also check out details of the Alemany Farm Earth Day Celebration here (scheduled for April 23). Enjoy.
