Indian Summer is finally upon us! Get outside and enjoy the hot temperatures. The Embarcadero is one ideal place to people-watch, soak up the sun, and soak up the beautiful views of the Bay.
The days may be shorter but the city is warmer and this weekend is promising temps in the upper 70's (finally!).
A San Francisco summer day is best spent in our crown jewel of Golden Gate Park where you can walk, bike, skate, picnic, play, and laze the day away. There are endless secret spots to stumble upon and you could spend years exploring and never see it all.
Need inspiration? Here's how some locals and visitors spent last weekend in the park.
Drive 100 miles north up Highway 101, then veer west toward the ocean on Highway 128 and you'll find Anderson Valley. It's a place to escape the crowds, channel your inner cowboy, sharpen your wine knowledge, and see more stars than you have in a long time.
If you thought the party would slow down on Sunday in preparation for the upcoming week, you were dead wrong. Check out photos of Saturday's Outside Lands. Craziness, arrests, drinking, huge doses of music and, of course, the beautiful Golden Gate Park scenery.
Check out some shots of Friday at Outside Lands, lots of dancing, smiles, foggy and chilly weather, and good times were had. Check back tomorrow morning for more pics from today.
No matter where you spent your 4th of July in the Bay Area, you were in for a spectacular show. Here are some shots from Bernal Hill with a nice view overlooking the city. Where did you watch?
