Look of the Week: Women's Summer Travel Essentials

Look of the Week: Women's Summer Travel Essentials

Cheers to summer travels and cheers to easy packing! Wherever the destination, here are seven travel essentials to help make it your best, most stress-free vacation yet. Bon voyage, ladies.

Street Style Report: A Super Cute SF Toddler Shows Us Three Looks, in Presidio Heights

As promised, here's Brixton Plock, the super amazing two-year-old son of local artists, Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock. When we were shooting Kelly's Street Style photos, this little guy was running around with Hulk hands, watering plants outside, and watching his favorite movie, My Neighbor Totoro. He was too darn cute to not photograph, so we had him dress up for a Street Style shoot of his own.

Seven Favorite Things: Women's Spring/Summer Footwear from Gimme Shoes

Last week, we brought you our men's picks from the legendary SF boutique, Gimme Shoe  -- this week, it's all about the ladies. (Trust us, it was hard to pick only seven.)

We're guessing you already have the bag, sunglasses, gadgets, and destination. Here's what else you'll need.

Street Style Report: Local Artist Kelly Tunstall Shows Us Four Spring Looks, in Presidio Heights

Street Style Report: Local Artist Kelly Tunstall Shows Us Four Spring Looks, in

You may recognize Kelly Tunstall's artwork from her mermaid murals at Bar Crudo. Or maybe you've come across her work at a local gallery. I first saw her artwork years ago, at 111 Minna, and was instantly charmed. Her whimsical figures and enchanting use of color make her artwork distinct and easily lovable.

I later met Kelly at a party in the Mission, and went gaga over her green Dries Van Noten pumps. It's no surprise that the creator of such lovely pieces of art would have an incredible sense of style, too.

Seven Favorite Things: Men's Spring/Summer Footwear from Gimme Shoes

Since opening the first Gimme Shoes in 1984, co-owners Jared Warwick and Leigh Stackpole have and continue to feed the constant cravings of San Francisco's shoe obsessed (and they've converted a few along the way, too). We're certainly believers. Gimme is, without fail, well stocked with everything from intellectual British to funky-forward Euro footwear. Here are our seven summer favorites, for the boys.

Look of the Week: Everyday Summer Wedges

When it comes to everyday footwear, what's a SF gal to do? We work, dine, bike, dance, drink, explore, and play -- and we need comfortable, beautiful footwear that supports such a charged lifestyle. Well, ladies, meet your new favorite wedges.

Look of the Week: Seven Great Men’s Finds at Bloomingdale’s

We browsed the latest collection at Bloomingdale's and found seven menswear essentials to help get you through the summer -- in style.

Street Style Report: A Metier Shop Girl in Union Square

Street Style Report: Metier's Shop Girls, in Union Square

Last week, we spotted gorgeous shop girl Sommer Naffz dressed in summer blues, at Metier. For the past eight years, Sommer has called SF home. She loves walking and riding her bike around the city, cooking up incredible breakfast dishes, and traveling (she's currently in Wales!) – and she does it all with effortless style.

Seven Favorite Things: Gear from PUBLIC Bikes

The sun is out, the days are long, and all we want to do is ride bikes.

Gear up for your summer rides with these accessories from PUBLIC Bikes.
