A Mid-City Wedding with Breathtaking Views

Laura and Tom's elegant San Francisco wedding took our breath away.

The couple's traditional Catholic ceremony took place at the iconic Mission Dolores where both Laura's mother and father walked her down the aisle. The bride looked gorgeous in a flowy gown with a delicate gold belt. An intimate reception at Hotel Adagio followed. The couple snuck onto the roof of the hotel to capture stunning photos in front of the city skyline. Back at the party, the newlyweds cut and served pie for dessert before spending the night dancing with family and friends.

From the bride:

"We wanted to have an intimate wedding that was indicative of what SF meant to us – historical architecture and tradition with amazing views of a thriving urban downtown skyline. We were so happy with our venue choices as that was the hardest part for us! Having our ceremony at the Old Mission Dolores, the oldest building in San Francisco followed by our reception at Adagio with its amazing city windows and access to a balcony right off the dinner area was perfect.

When it came to desserts, we wanted to have something that was a bit more unique and casual and that we both really enjoyed eating as an everyday dessert, so we went with pies and gelato. Our guest enjoyed it as they could mix and match flavors and keep going back for seconds!

One of the most memorable moments was definitely creating all the flower arrangements from the ceremony to the reception. It was a family affair on the bride's side as we hand-picked all the flowers the day before the wedding from the SF Flower Mart. This is not for the faint of heart. However, in the end, the flowers had a special meaning and the memories of family bonding time during a wedding will last forever."
