A Sonoma Wedding in Late Spring
A late spring wedding took place in the verdant rolling hills of Sonoma County. Kate and Phil were wed at Trentadue Winery, accompanied by poetry readings from the guests. A heirloom family handkerchief with "M" embroidered on it was her "something old," a small blue heart painted on her toenail was her "something blue," and yes--the bride had a sixpence hidden in her shoe! Tender and sweet, this couple tied the knot in the midst of friends, family, incredible food, and lovely wine country views.

When it came time for Jeni, who works at Pandora, and Mark, who's in a band called the Hustler Van Band, to decide on a wedding location, they opted for San Francisco's oldest historic night club venue that fit their eclectic taste and love for music: The Great American Music Hall.

They had planned on a wedding in Golden Gate in October, but IT expert Greg Janess had wanted to honor his late father by having it on his birthday, March 18th. So he and his wife-to-be, Mel, picked a spot, Pier 14, scaled down the wedding to 3 people per side, found a good Sunday brunch spot (Ironside), and did it. The cake was Miette– it was rich but so good!

Bride Melissa knew the winery well as her family lived about 5 minutes away and she had visited the winery with her father who passed away 8 years ago, which made it even more special. Even with the clouds and rain, the pruned back vines and dormant flowers, she knew they had found THE place for their dream wedding.
