Baseball Fans From Opposing Teams Hit a Wedding Day Homerun

By

When Padres fan Michele and Giants fan Tim met at a baseball game, it could have been a deal-breaker. But not one to let a good thing get away, Tim pretended to root for the Padres in an effort to win the girl. In the end, neither remembers who won the game—they talked through the entire nine innings. A few baseball seasons later, the couple married with an adorable celebration in San Francisco.

Their wedding day began on the Embarcadero, with some climbing action at the Vaillancourt Fountain and Hog Island oysters in the Ferry Building, before a modern, lighthearted ceremony SoMa's Terra Gallery.

Personal touches included handwritten notes on the tables detailing the couple's history together, as well as sassy notes encouraging guests to ask the British flower girls to say "crumpet."

The party commenced with a beautiful first dance before guests partied into the night.
