The UN Plaza Heart of the City Farmers' Market is celebrating its 30th anniversary with an exhibit on its history and talks from the founding farmers during today's market, which goes until 4 p.m. Market and Seventh streets

Saturday, September 17

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hog & Rocks Restaurant is hosting a fundraiser and silent auction for the family of Gaspar "Tio" Puch-tzek, the chef who was shot and killed a few weeks ago when he was mistaken for a gang member. Sunday, September 18

OneVietnam Network's Street Eats charity gala (6-10 p.m.) at the Ferry Building will feature street food along with wine, coffee, dessert, and specialty cocktails from more than three-dozen Bay Area’s restaurants, food trucks, and wineries.
