Why: Just in time for Indian summer, enjoy an evening of wine, beer, and bites while shopping bikinis.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR 

50th Annual Big Book Sale 
What: Over 70 categories of books and multi-media items all for only $1-$3. 
Why: More than half a million transactions at the Sale—combined with online auctions, two used book stores, and annual events—will raise approximately one million dollars to benefit the public library’s free programs and neighborhood branch upkeep efforts. 
When: September 24-28, 10am-6pm 
Where: Festival Pavilion, Fort Mason Center

GRUB IN OAKLAND  

What: Off the Grid food trucks, local beer, wine, live music, and dance lessons combine under the string lights for the best weekly block party in the East Bay. 
Why: It's across the street from the Lake Merritt BART station and museum entrance is half price.
