Welcome to Ticket Tuesdays, a new weekly chance for you to score entry to some of the hottest shows in the Bay Area.
This Friday, it's time to party like it's 1906 again at the Cal Academy of Sciences' Earthquake Premiere Party. You'll be among the first people to catch a glimpse of their newest exhibit "Earthquake" (a kinetic journey about these super seismic phenomena and how they fit into the larger story of our ever-changing Earth).
But the keyword of the night is party, so look forward to experiencing a taste of the seedy Barbary Coast brought to life through variety shows, art installations, roving characters and live music. Feel the awesome power of the Great Quake in an earthquake simulator, try a Pisco Punch or Martinez cocktail, and then dance the night away to the old–timey sounds of the Sour Mash Hug Band.
To score a pair of ticket to this extravaganza, sign up for our newsletter below, and we'll choose a winner randomly. The winner will be notified via email on how to pick up the tickets.
