We've been covering the California Academy of Sciences for as long as we can remember, with great reason too! Not only does the Academy offer insight into how life on Earth developed, but also how we can continue to sustain that very life in the future. It’s as if it brings the whole universe under one roof - an aquarium, a planetarium, and an entire natural history museum. With a 2.5 acre "living roof," an expansive solar canopy, a water reclamation system, and walls insulated with recycled blue jeans, the structure itself just might be the greenest museum on the planet (so SF).
