The St. Regis San Francisco welcomed more than 300 local celebrities to its charmingly sophisticated St. Regis Polo Cup preview reception, which celebrated the start of the 2014 polo season. With fashion from Saks Fifth Avenue, wines from Hamel Family Wines, exquisite hors d'ouvres from executive chef Olivier Belliard, and a classic divot stomp, the hotel was transformed into an elegant wine country chateau.
The event also celebrated the inaugural year of the wine country St. Regis Polo Cup, which will take place on September 20. Featuring top professional polo player Nacho Figueras, the Cup will etablish Sonoma as an unmissable stop on the prestigious international St. Regis Polo circuit. All proceeds will benefit Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestiran Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of disabled children through therapeutic riding.
