This Sunday, September 14, football season kicks off at Levi's Stadium when the San Francisco 49ers take on the Chicago Bears. Mix the unofficial cocktail of the 49ers from Head Bartender Carlo Splendorini, the "Pimm's 49." Made with rum, cherry liqueur, strawberry shrub, sweet vermouth, and fresh lime juice, you can grab the drink at Bourbon Pub inside Levi's Stadium, or at home in front your screen cheering on the home team.

1.50oz Zacapa Rum

0.75oz Sweet Vermouth

0.75oz Cherry Liqueur*

0.75oz Pickled Strawberry Juice*

0.75oz Fresh Lime Juice

Top with Ginger Beer

1. Add ingredients to cocktail glass and stir

2. Top with Ginger Beer

3. Garnish withPink Peppercorn, cucumber slices, mint sprig

Pickled Strawberry Juice

20 Whole Strawberries
1L Water
1L Sugar
2 Cups Rice Wine Vinegar
Cracked Black Pepper to Taste
Pinch of Salt
10 Pink Peppercorns
0.5Cups Beefeater Gin

1. Combine ingredients, not including the Gin in a stove top pot

2. Over medium heat, bring to a slight simmer for 10 minutes, never letting it boil

3. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature

4. Once cooled, strain out ingredients

5. Add Gin to preserve

6. Store in a dry cool place until ready to use

Cherry Liqueur

20 Whole Cherries
1L Water
1L Sugar
2 Cups Rice Wine Vinegar
Pinch of Salt
10 Black Peppercorns
0.5 Cups Jim Beam Whiskey

1. Combine ingredients, not including the Whiskey in a stove top pot

2. Over medium heat, bring to a slight simmer for 20 minutes, never letting it boil

3. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature

4. Once cooled, strain out ingredients

5. Add Whiskey to preserve

6. Store in a dry cool place until ready to use
