Join the California College of the Arts (CCA) on Wednesday, March 25th for a show-stopping evening that will satisfy fashion aficionados, foodies, and general do-gooders alike. The 2015 CCA Gala is a celebration of alumni success, as well as a benefit to provide scholarships for some of the most artistic up-and-coming talent at CCA. Feel free to channel your inner (er, outer) Victoria Beckham, as attendees are encouraged to dress according to the theme, “Black is the New Black.” And don’t worry about wearing your tallest heels—valet parking will be available upon arrival.

The night will kick off with a stylish cocktail hour in the central Nave on the San Francisco campus, transformed by designer Stanlee Gatti especially for the evening. Take your sips with you as you explore the silent auction filled with many coveted prizes—remember, all bids are guilt-free, since 100% of net profit from the night goes to the CCA scholarship program. After working up an appetite, enjoy a memorable meal crafted by Taste Catering.

Immediately following dinner, six CCA fashion design alumni will showcase their innovative designs, ranging from couture to menswear to children’s clothes. Participating artists include Amber Clisura (BFA 2006), Owner & Designer at SALT; Hannah Gallagher (BFA 2006), Director of Production for Bibhu Mohapatra; Erick Lopez (BFA 2014), 7x7’s very own Emerging Designer of the Year (2014) and Assistant Designer for Abercrombie & Fitch; Les Schweikert (BFA 2006), Senior Designer of Couture and Bridal for Badgley Mischka; Paloma Von Broadley (BFA 2009), Manager at D&H Sustainable Jewelers; Pin Yun (Sindia) Lin (BFA 2014), Designer for Simply. Renowned designer Bibhu Mohapatra will also be in attendance.
