Staying home Christmas Eve? Now's a good time to book a table at Flour + Water,  which is hosting a Sicilian-style Feast of Seven Fishes, featuring an eight-course menu prepared by executive chef-owner Thomas McNaughton ($265 per person). Take a seat at the chef's table in the restaurant's Dough Room, and start with a caviar, bone marrow, and potato amuse before McNaughton brings out risotto with uni and sea beans, abalone with egg yolk and caramelized onions, and more. 2401 Harrison St.

Or celebrate with Frances’ executive chef-owner Melissa Perello's four-course $80 prix fixe menu at the Michelin-starred restaurant. The meal will begin with an array of festive canapés inspired by her grandmother, followed by four courses including a family-style entrée. 3870 17th St.
