Tonight at Grand Cafe, Chef Alicia Jenish breaks down a whole pig to offer a number of a la carte specials, in addition to the regular menu. With the exception of the “Charlotte’s Salad,” which is inspired by all of the things pig eat, each special utilizes the entire pig, such as the pork sugo served with house-made troffie pasta, red wine, and chard ($24).These menu items will only be offered through Sunday 10/21, so be sure to make your reservations here. Come enjoy a three-course, family style Mexican Meat Party at Traci Des Jardins’ Mijita.  What makes this dinner special? Bruce Aidell, author of The Complete Meat Cookbook, will prepare this dinner. Studio Gourmet is back with a new show at Bottle Cap in North Beach featuring chef/owner Dane Boryta. Start the evening with a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvres, and a specialty aperitif followed by a live culinary demo and interview, culminating with a four-course dinner prepared by Chef Dane. Come for a one-of-a-kind afternoon experience filled with good food at Stag Dining Group’s Picnic at the Presidio, presented by Off the Grid. Every Sunday this October, diners and culinary adventurers alike congregate at the Main Post Lawn for unparalled views of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.  In addition, picnic goers can grab food from OTG’s fantastic culinary line up including Bar Crudo, Humphry Slocombe, Dixie, Nopalito, and Mission Cheese.
