After wandering North Beach for a bit of street style inspiration, my photography intern, Kim, and I came up a bit dry. We figured trekking up to ACRE/SF would be our safest bet and, there, we found then ACRE/SF and now Unionmade employee, Brian McDonough, sitting pretty behind the counter. With his model-like good looks, we figured we'd ask him to model a few looks for us from the current collection, and he agreed to. (It turns out Brian logs snapshots of his style and life on his blog, 1st Amendment.) Here's what came from this very fun, impromptu photoshoot at ACRE/SF.

1. Which three adjectives would you use to describe your style?

Sharp, classic and preppy (with a San Francisco twist).

2. What's on your wish list?

We have a brown suede bomber from RRL at Unionmade right now -- that's definitley at the top of my list!

3. What's your men's style peeve?

Square toe dress shoes. Please, put that in bold.

4. What's your drink of choice?

Manhattan.

5. Chocolate or shoes?

Shoes shoes shoes shoes.

6. I like a girl in...

My girlfriend looks pretty in everything. But I love her in a floral dress.

7. What's your SF Top 5?

A top five would be impossible, but I really enjoy hanging in the Mission, because of the vibe, the style of the people on the street, the park, and the food/cocktails.
