Steven Spielberg joins SF Symphony for “Maestros of the Movies”
Spielberg joins as a special guest host to Hollywood legend John Williams, the man responsible for the most recognizable music in film (think Star Wars, Jaws, Indian Jones, etc.). The show is nearly sold out but some obstructed view seats are available by phone, call (415) 864-6000 quick!

The 70's pioneer band of new wave and punk plays two shows this week in the Bay. Expect plenty of sing-along favorites (Call Me, Heart of Glass, One Way or Another) from Debbie Harry.

Funny or Die Oddball Comedy Fest w/ Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords 
The folks at Funny or Die call this month’s Oddball Fest a “laughpocalypse” of comedy, music, and curiosities headlined by Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords. Also catch appearances by The Daily Show’s Al Madrigal and Kristen Schaal, as well as up-and-comer Hannibal Buress.

A Night at the Greek
Restoration Hardware is getting into the music business by curating a lineup of emerging artists under the stars. Soul-singing sisters Larkin Poe, the smoky vocals of The Brixtons, and the soulful pop of EDEI will perform.

Beer
Almanac NotOberfest  + Oktoberfest by the Bay
On Friday, the one-night charity event features a mix of seasonal craft beers that span this summer’s wet hopped ales, upcoming Oktoberfest lagers, and the first taste of fall’s pumpkin and other harvest-style brews. Oktoberfest sets up for there days of brats, beer, and oompah music.
