Tickets for Auction Napa Valley, the Valley’s biggest fundraiser and party of the year, go on sale tomorrow, March 31^st at 8am and will likely sell out within the hour.  The auction, which attracts the who's who of the wine industry as well as sprinklings of Hollywood celebs and Silicon Valley moguls, is a four-day wine bidding and partying extravaganza that takes place June 2-5 this year.

Originally created in the early 1980’s by Valley founders like Robert and Margrit Mondavi, the annual event aims to bring attention and prestige to American wine and give back to the community. Over the years, it has raised nearly 97 million dollars for non-profit programs and created an amazing amount of publicity for the Valley. 

There are dozens of parties and more than 250 auction lots, packed with wines and exclusive experiences catered by Napa’s top chefs. 

Although bidding is highly encouraged (as this is a charity event), many simply come to enjoy some of the best (or at least most expensive and exclusive) wines and foods while partying with the wine makers and winery owners. There are a number of ticket options ranging from $350.00 - $2,500.00 per person; each including a range of choices. Make sure to choose your events quickly -- they fill up fast.

The good news is that the auction isn’t until June so you’ll have plenty to save up for all that wine you plan to bid on while you're up here.
