After some less-than-perfect matches, Jasan and Jennifer finally found each other via eHarmony three years ago. Their animal-themed, museum wedding was a wild, pink-and-green adventure.

After some cursory Internet research for wedding venues, the couple fell in love with the Los Altos History Museum. Jennifer has always loved animals and animal figurines, so one of the first details the couple decided on were the little animals scattered on the tables and centerpieces. They spray painted the figurines gold to match the wedding theme of green and pink with gold accents. Small bags of animal cookies served as party favors, the table numbers were animals stamped on card stock, and two small giraffes topped the cake. There were even large animal figurines on the dessert table with small banners identifying each dessert. 

The pink-and-green color theme extended beyond the invitations, programs, and décor to every aspect of the bridal party. The bride had her shoes dyed forest green, the bridesmaids wore different pink dresses, and the groom, groomsmen, and even the couple's fathers wore pink socks and green ties all with different patterns. Jasan even agreed to wear pink underwear!

As part of the DIY feel of the nuptials, the couple grew and planted all of the succulents for the centerpieces. The groom's father built the planter boxes for the centerpieces, and burned the couple's initials into them. They also created the hearts and arrows that the flower girls and ring bearer carried down the aisle. The bride's stepmother was instrumental in creating the cute paper fortunetellers.

The bride and groom also wanted to incorporate their families into different aspects of the wedding. Pictures from family member's weddings were framed and used as decoration. Jennifer had a peice of her late mother's wedding dress as well as a small piece of lace from her step-mother's dress sewn into her own, and added a little blue heart-shaped button and a little pink elephant button (that she bought with her mother when she was little) onto the top.
