Thoughtful Holiday Gifts for Change Makers in the Bay Area

By

This story is brought to you by Cruise, an all-electric self-driving car service based in San Francisco.

Share the love this holiday season with gifts that give back to the Bay, too.

Choose from stylish reusable bags, art created by developmentally disabled artists, community-centric farm boxes—or donate to a local organization.

Give, and be merry!

Show local businesses some love.

San Franciscans will love helping to support small local businesses and the community with a dedicated donation to SF New Deal. Founded at the start of the pandemic, this organization is working to fight inequities in the city through zero waste and Spanish/English language pilot programs; a small business debt relief grant program; community feeding programs; and, come 2022, pilot programs to promote clean streets and safety. A $50 donations provides a family of four with a dinner and helps keep small business workers employed. // Donate on sfnewdeal.org.

Introducing Cruise for Good

The holiday season is the time for giving, and Cruise gives back to San Francisco year-round. Cruise is an all-electric self-driving car service coming soon to SF. While Cruise's autonomous vehicles have driven millions of miles to learn the city streets, Cruise also dedicates 1 percent of its fleet to important community needs, like delivering thousands of meals with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and SF New Deal.
