Mark your calendar, ladies: The What Summit returns on October 17th and the venue is pretty glamorous.
To be held at Marin County's Summit at Skywalker Ranch, the one-day summit will be the ultimate ladies' day out, full of smart sessions on topics about everything from wellness and happiness to leadership and sex; a gourmet lunch (with wine, always); mini-LED facials; yoga; and more.

The What's cofounders (and besties), Gina Pell and Amy Parker, were initially hesitant about hosting another affair.
"It's extremely expensive to throw an event," Pell said, from her home in Sausalito. But their active, private, and woman-only Facebook group, The What: Women, changed their mind. "[The first summit] was so powerful to everybody. And even though it wasn't that helpful to us, financially, we decided to do it again and do it a little smarter."
The sophomore event will be live streamed "so that everybody has an opportunity to learn from the wisdom" shared by the many stellar individuals in The What Summit's cast of contributors, adds Pell. The summit, much like Pell and Parker's weekly newsletter, really focuses on inclusivity.
The "whole woman" summit is just one of many acts that the two tech veterans manage on a daily basis. In addition to throwing October's The What Summit, they collaborate on The What List, a weekly newsletter that curates their favorite things, along with the extremely active Facebook group, where women from all over the country check in daily with their peers for advice on a wide range of topics.
