Wedding Inspiration: Simply Romantic at SF City Hall

The love story of Jasmine Madrigal and Anthony Siador makes the case for seizing the day.

Both a bit shy, the former co-workers were slow to admit their feelings for one another after. When Madrigal finally divulged her feelings, Siador, who had joined the military, got down on one knee—the night before he was deployed to Kuwait. For seven months she held her breath awaiting his return; we he came back home safely, the planning began.

Their day was simple and romantic—a gathering with a handful of friends and family at San Francisco City Hall.

The groom sported a navy blue suit; his bride was decked out in an ivory lace mermaid gown. For the bashful pair, it was all about keeping it intimate with minimal decor and a small wedding party: Three bridesmaids wore mauve floor-length frocks while the groomsmen donned grey suits. The bride carried a bursting bouquet of white blooms, while her bridesmaids carried leafy bouquets of eucalyptus and greens.

After the ceremony, they took advantage of City Hall's Beaux-Arts details for photo ops, then made their way to the Palace of Fine Arts for some more shots.

The couple celebrated with a cozy, candlelit dinner with their loved ones. Lush runners covered wooden tables decorated with gilded accents. A round wooden sign reminiscent of a wine barrel top was emblazoned "The Siadors" and invited guests to leave their messages and words of wisdom.

More white florals topped an elegant two-tiered cake topped with the words "Our adventure begins." After feasting and toasting, the newlyweds stepped outside on the patio to dance under the stars; the bride effortlessly tossing a leather jacket over her dress.

Her advice? "Don't sweat the small stuff. Some little details won't matter as much as you originally thought. Soak in every single moment that you can on your big day, because it seriously goes by quicker than you can imagine."
