The celebration of Tracy and Jacob Dillon channeled dark fairytale vibes—the two say they were never cut out for a "normal" life.
They'd met as teens during a rebellious phase on MySpace, connected over music and, once they met in person, became inseparable. Nine years later, he tours in a band and she is launching her own clothing line. Naturally, their wedding day reflected their edgy, independent styles.
A rich, gothic color palette of deep burgundy, emerald, and black made for a wedding party with vampish vibes. The groom sported a maroon suit with black accents and a red rose; the groomsmen and bridesmaids all wore black. The was a standout in a lacy white mermaid gown and a glittering tiara, her dark hair and deep lip picking up on the theme.
At the ceremony, the dramatic architecture of their venue, Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, set the scene with its beautifully austere fireplace and mantle sprayed with fresh greenery and white roses; glass candle pillars lined the aisle alongside grey chairs.
After their I dos, the two wandered the vineyards and cobblestone grounds before stepping through grand, carved double doors to party with their guests. The reception maintained the same level of moodiness with black tablecloths and napkins, gold plates, and crimson and ivory florals—the same arrangement that topped their cake. Situated between towering pillars, the wedding party sat together at a long table draped with a garland, bouquets, and an abundance of candles. The newlyweds laughed cried through speeches, cut their cake, and danced the night away as newlyweds.
